The title is a Peter Pan reference Because it looks like magical golden dust to me. Like pixie dust. And so: "But, Peter, how do we get to Never Land?" "Fly, of course." "Fly?" "It's easy! All you have to do is to... is to... is to... Ha! That's funny." "What's the matter? Don't you know?" "Oh, sure. It's... It's just that I never thought about it before. Say, that's it! You think of a wonderful thought." "Any happy little thought?" "Uh-huh." <After a failed attempt by the children> "This won't do. What's the matter with you? All it takes is faith and trust. Oh and something I forgot. Dust!" "Dust?" "Yep. Just a little bit of pixie dust."
I didn't know what this was a photo of at first, it looked so magical! But the fact that it's a firework makes it even better because even though I'm not much of a photographer, I know from experience that fireworks are hard to take photos of!
The colors of this picture are excellent and the timing is perfect! The orange in the heart of the "explosion" looks especially nice in contrats to that blue hue in the sky... Complementary colors FTW In fact, the dark, somewhat blurry background works well against the sharp sparkles. The cropping is also very good, having all that's essential in there but keeping things also interesting by not having the focus point in the middle. One thing I would change, though, is the fullview size. It's great to see this in detail but the fullview doesn't fit my screen entirely and I'm a little sad because of that But that's just my personal opinion.
I would've also picked up that little leaf or piece of thrash that can be seen by the cardboard. Not a big thing but still And, if possible, it would've been prettier without the cardboard under the firework for it isn't all that pretty and reflects light too much in my opinion, but then again, would that been safe?
Nevertheless, this is an enchanting piece that shows you're a skilled photographer Takes like this don't happen by accident! I wish I could be of more help but I can't really find any other ways to improve this
Thank you so much Haha yeah that cardboard.. We were using it because it had rained earlier and the ground was still wet I probably could be able to photoshop it though.... Hmm... Haha well thank you so much for your critique and suggestions!!
